St. Francis is a social parish. Parishioners love to gather for food, conversation, laughter and camaraderie. Annual social events include an ice cream celebration to kick-off the Sunday school, a fall fundraiser/party whose theme changes annually, a lessons and carols evening during the Christmas season where parishioners father for cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, then proceed to the Historic Church for caroling and dessert at the rectory, an Easter Eve egg hunt with crafts, games and activities, a Newcomers brunch in May, a parish picnic in June, and a barbecue at the Rectory during the summer.
