A Bruce Springsteen Evening Prayer Service on Oct 10

On Saturday, October 10, more than 80 people from New Jersey to New Hampshire gathered at the New Church, 2810 Long Ridge Road, Stamford, for a unique and inspiring evening of worship featuring the music of Bruce Springsteen.

This alternative liturgy brought Springsteen’s powerful themes of hope, peace, justice, mercy, and faith to life through stirring performances by St. Francis musicians and choir members, along with heartfelt prayers woven with lyrics from his songs.

It was a moving evening of music, reflection, and community. Heartfelt thanks to everyone who played, sang, planned, and prayed, reminding us of our calling to be the hands and feet in this Land of Hope and Dreams.
