Like most Christian traditions, we recognize baptism as entry and welcome into God’s family. We baptize infants as well as anyone who desires to be baptized. A commitment to faith through confirmation may be made for teenagers or church members of any age. Typically, several area Episcopal churches collaborate to help confirmands prepare their journey to confirmation.
The blessing of God and the gathered community on the vows of two individuals is a powerful experience, marking the love shared by two people. St. Francis welcomes couples to use the contact info below regarding the availability of the Historic Church (Old Long Ridge Rd) or the Church (Long Ridge Rd) for a marriage service. The request should be made at least four months in advance of the date. After service arrangements have been made, there will be at least three pre-marital meetings with the clergy.
