Following the Maundy Thursday service at St John's Lutheran Church, there will be an Altar of Repose here at St Francis. It offers a sacred space for quiet prayer and watchfulness. Representing the place where Jesus prayed on the night before his crucifixion, the altar is simply and reverently prepared, inviting us to remain with Christ in reflection, silence, and devotion. All are welcome to come and keep watch, honoring this solemn and intimate moment of Holy Week.
