St. Francis held a communitywide Independence Day prayer service in the morning of July 4th in the Historic Church. Faith communities around the city were invited and joined in a sacred hour of prayer, reflecting on our shared civic values. We celebrated our hopes for the nation, especially for people of faith who celebrate the spiritual tapestry of the American family. INTEMPO provided lovely music for the gathering. Various people in the congregation delivered the readings and recited the Declaration of Independence. It was moving and provided inspiration for our future!
