Our 80th Anniversary started with a joint 10:00 AM Service at the Historic Church with The Rev. Carol Gadsden, The Rev. Linda Spiers, The Rev. Mark Lingle, and The Rev. Joe Rose celebrating the Service. The Church brimmed with so much joy! We sang, we hugged, and we stood when Joe called out the number of years since we joined St. Francis. And, YES, we have one parishioner who has been here since the beginning! At the end of the Service, we were blessed by the choir as they sang The Hallelujah Chorus! After the Service, the annual picnic awaited us at the New Church. The sun shone down on us as we ate, talked and laughed together. It wouldn't be a St. Francis celebration without a Margie I. parody which we all sang as Jim F. accompanied on piano.
