Our 80th Anniversary celebration started with a joint 10:00 AM Service at the Historic Church led by our rector, The Rev. Joe Rose, and assisted by former St. Francis clergy, The Rev. Carol Gadsden, The Rev. Linda Spiers, and The Rev. Mark Lingle. The Church brimmed with joy! We sang, we hugged, and we stood when Rev. Joe called out the number of years since we joined St. Francis. And, yes, we have one parishioner who has been here since the beginning! After gathering at God's table for the Eucharist, we were blessed by the choir as they sang "The Hallelujah Chorus." After the service, the annual parish picnic awaited us at the New Church. We gathered in the shade of the trees as we ate, talked and laughed together. It wouldn't be a St. Francis celebration without a Margie I. parody, which we all sang as Jim F. accompanied on piano. And Rev.
