Rabbi Knopf joined Temple Beth-El Stamford after nearly a decade at Temple Beth-El Richmond, where he built an inclusive and vibrant community. The Forward named him one of “America’s Most Inspiring Rabbis.”

He holds degrees from Columbia University and the Jewish Theological Seminary, and received rabbinic ordination and a master’s degree from American Jewish University. A Global Justice Fellow and doctoral candidate at Union Presbyterian Seminary, he is passionate about lifelong learning and interfaith engagement.
